She Counts
Because confidence should never be the thing that limits ability.
She Counts is a new, completely free Expanding Minds community for girls in Senior Cycle studying Higher Level Maths and/or Applied Maths.
As a teacher, I have seen how important it can be for girls to connect with other girls who share an interest in Maths, to feel represented in the spaces they are in, and to have access to additional learning opportunities.
She Counts is a real passion project for me. I want to use some of what I have built through Expanding Minds to create more of those opportunities — and I want the students who become part of the community to help shape what She Counts becomes.
Some students will join because they want additional support. Others will join because they absolutely love Maths and want more of it. Both belong here.
Learn. Connect. Access.
Throughout the year, She Counts will offer opportunities including free live classes, meet-ups, additional learning opportunities, student events, resources, and supported or scholarship places for selected Expanding Minds classes and revision days.
She Counts will evolve throughout the year, and I would love the girls who join the community to have a voice in what comes next.
She Counts will always be completely free to join.
